Physiotherapy In Hereford
At The Personal Training Gym, we believe physiotherapy should do more than simply reduce pain. Our goal is to help people become stronger, more capable and more confident in their bodies.
We’re proud to have assembled a team of expert Musculoskeletal and Neurological Physiotherapists who share our vision of delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Using advanced VALD movement testing, evidence-based rehabilitation and a personalised approach, we identify what’s limiting your progress and create a clear plan to help you move forward.
Whether that’s walking comfortably, recovering from surgery, returning to golf, keeping up with your grandchildren or maintaining an active lifestyle, we’re here to help you build long-term capability, not just short-term relief.
Because we don’t just treat pain.
We build capability.

Dave Bishop - Musculoskeletal
“Qualified in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in 2015, I bring a wealth of experience across both NHS and private practice settings throughout South Wales. My career has also extended into elite sport, supporting the Dragons Rugby age-grade teams. I have further advanced my expertise through postgraduate study in Sports Rehabilitation at Cardiff Metropolitan University, with a strong focus on performance and recovery.
I am currently Head of Physiotherapy at Nuffield Health Hereford, where I specialise in delivering precise diagnosis, performance-led rehabilitation, and strength-based conditioning. While experienced in managing a broad range of spinal, upper and lower limb conditions, I have a particular interest in lower limb injuries. Through my links with Nuffield Health, I can facilitate fast access to high-quality diagnostics and treatment pathways.
My philosophy is simple: “test, don’t guess.” By combining objective assessment with industry-leading VALD technology, I deliver tailored, data-driven rehabilitation programmes designed to restore confidence, optimise performance, and return you to pain-free movement and peak physical condition.”
