Amanda joined us just a few months ago and has made great strides in getting fit for her forthcoming London to Brighton bike ride and getting into shape for her daughters wedding…
“I started at Ady Watts in January on a month’s trial. It was the perfect time to do something about my weight and fitness as I struggle at times with both.
I rekindled my love of cycling again during lock down and, inspired by an ex-work colleague who cycled London to Paris last summer, I signed up for the London to Brighton bike ride in June, so I need to improve my fitness (I hear Ditchling hill at mile 48 is a bit of a killer!). In addition to the bike ride in June, my daughter gets married in September and I really want to feel good about appearing in the wedding photographs.
It’s great taking part in the Small Group Personal Training sessions to increase my strength & mobility and the Cycling Improvement Programme for my cardiovascular fitness as both are tailored for me to meet both of my goals. The trainers are all so supportive and helpful, and I am pleased to see the results when out on my bike as I am feeling stronger, faster and recover quicker after a long ride. I’m also seeing the results when standing on the scales which is great.”
