Hear how John’s making a return to golf…
Previously a keen sportsman, playing golf and before that football, John had become less and less active with back and hip pain, which he was awaiting surgery for. Add to this the effects of a more sedentary lifestyle during the pandemic and John’s fitness decreased substantially. This led to a fear of doing even the most basic of tasks yet alone playing golf. A 10 minute daily walk was about the limit.
John has trained twice a week with a member of the team to slowly rebuild both strength and confidence in movement as well as doing a couple of exercises each day at home.
Three months on and John has progressed fantastically well and is now able to enjoy days out with the family as well as reaching his first goal of being able to get back on the golf course playing 9 holes for the first time in three years!
